Some of these places just put in a ban at the beginning of the year. While others have bans that could expire soon.

No Ohio Dispensary has been given the green light to sell recreational cannabis as of this post. Since the attempt to amend issue 2 failed we have not heard of anyone even being scheduled for an inspection. Our sources tell us there has been no communication from the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control. Over 60 dispensaries have been given a provisional license we are told this is just a placeholder. Before anyone can begin recreational sales each dispensary, cultivator, and processor must have an in-person inspection with DCC. According to the law passed last November, DCC has until mid-September to issue licenses of operation to dispensaries to sell recreational cannabis.

We could see recreational sales before winter if nothing is changed in the law.
